As a maximum, always use the lower value offered by either the tyre or the rim.

Follow the tyre manufacturers guidelines for tyre pressure in use. Never exceed the tyre’s maximum rated pressure.

We recommend SwissStop Black Prince compound pads for our carbon rim brake road wheels, 2018 onwards. Use of any other pads may cause premature wear and failure and will not be covered by warranty.

We always recommend that your wheels are serviced after your first spirited ride to check spoke tensions and axle adjustment. It is completely normal for spokes to loosen in the ‘bed in’ period. After your initial service we recommend wheels are fully serviced every 2000 miles, including truing and re-tensioning, greasing bearings, cleaning of the drive system and necessary lubrication (depending on the drive system). This is also be a great time to check for any hub, rim, spoke, nipple and tyre damage. For heavy/ extreme mountain bike usage we recommend a visual inspection after every ride due to the nature of the riding. We also recommend servicing your hub internals (bearings and drive system) after use in heavy rain, deep water or muddy conditions to keep the wheels in great condition.

We recommend having your wheels checked over by a qualified bicycle mechanic to make sure that your crash has not caused damage which may not be obvious to the untrained eye before riding. Failure to do so may case accident or injury. This also covers accidents like falls, hitting potholes, other objects and driving into your garage with your bike on the roof.

Below are a list of our tubeless wheels with corresponding sized Halo tapes. The tape should touch from one side of the rim bed to the other. To achive this the tape may need to be overlapped side to side.

22mm: Devaura, Evaura, White Line, Carbaura pre-2022
25mm: Vapour, Vapour GXC, Chaos, Drove Line, Carbaura post 2022
30mm: Carbaura XCD
34mm: Ridge Line, Vapour 35
37mm: Vortex
46mm: Vapour 50

Sorry, we are unable to offer this service, as there are many variables. An experienced wheel builder should be able to assist you with the products in their hands. We offer the key dimensions for our hubs to assist wheel builders to calculate the estimated spoke lengths.
