Designed for and tested at trail centres, bike parks, street riding and at Hardline by some of the best riders in the business. The all new Skelta wheelset is one of the most durable in Mountain Biking and is built using 6069 T6 heat-treated aluminium with an invisible seamless welded joint for added security. The Skelta rim features a shot-peened surface which provides increased corrosion and fatigue resistance, as well as a uniform matt finish.
After more than a year of heavy testing we’ve developed the rim design to offer an even stronger wheel without excessive weight. Skelta’s enhanced 30 mm internal width, offers a confidence inspiring hooked rim profile for added control and tyre security and is compatible with all types of tyres, tubeless or not. We have optimised the width for tyre sizes from 2.25” – 2.8”, making them compatible with lightweight XC tyres for ripping local trails, through to heavy casing DH tyres for the gnarliest conditions.
At the centre of the rear Skelta wheel is our iconic MT Supadrive hub. All the Skelta wheels are built with our triple butted J-bend spokes so you can easily source replacements wherever you’re riding in the world.
Our Skelta Wheels or rims have been put through their paces, not only throughout the Scottish Highlands and the trails at Hardline in Wales but further afield performing on some of Utah’s finest dirt. A challenge they were more than up to and a testament to not only their strength, but also their resilience to some of the hardest riding conditions in the world.

Yes, if you have crashed and experienced a wheel failure, we can offer a 50% discount on a direct replacement. If the wheel has been discontinued we will endeavour to find the closest match for you.
Sorry, we are unable to offer this service, as there are many variables. An experienced wheel builder should be able to assist you with the products in their hands. We offer the key dimensions for our hubs to assist wheel builders to calculate the estimated spoke lengths.
Dependent on bank holidays and weekends, we aim to get your order to your door within 3 working days.
We put our orders on 24-hour courier services but we don't process orders over the weekend (sorry, we're out riding).
Therefore, sometimes orders will arrive next day, very occasionally they may take longer than 3 working days.

We always recommend that your wheels are serviced after your first spirited ride to check spoke tensions and axle adjustment. It is completely normal for spokes to loosen in the ‘bed in’ period. After your initial service we recommend wheels are fully serviced every 2000 miles, including truing and re-tensioning, greasing bearings, cleaning of the drive system and necessary lubrication (depending on the drive system). This is also be a great time to check for any hub, rim, spoke, nipple and tyre damage. For heavy/ extreme mountain bike usage we recommend a visual inspection after every ride due to the nature of the riding. We also recommend servicing your hub internals (bearings and drive system) after use in heavy rain, deep water or muddy conditions to keep the wheels in great condition.
